As we finally head into a little warmer weather and some semblance of normality here in Colorado I'm dusting off the gear and ready to start a new adventure. Perhaps you might be interested in joining me? The deets: Over the Covid months I spent some time putting out a little EP under the artist name 'The Grumbles' (Link at the bottom). I'm bad with defining genre so I just call it indie rock. I would like to find some good folks and get a band started back up centered around this music. Ideally I want to record a full album and start playing some shows as the world slowly opens back up. I need musicians who have open minds and hearts. I don't want to be a one man show; I want my bandmates to help me shape this music and create something awesome together. Who I am: A local songwriter and musician looking to make some music. I play a couple instruments, write pretty good lyrics and can sing em'. Most of my songs fall into the category of fun songs for sad millennials. I usually end up on rhythm guitar and lead vocals in most groups I have been in. I have space and gear to work with. I also have the means to record in my own home studio. I'm more interested in making music than making money. I'm in my (very) late 20's and I have my shit together. I'm good at making art, I'm bad at promoting it. If you lean super conservative politically you're probably not going to like me. That's cool, you do you, just don't put us through that uncomfortable jam session, eh? Outside of music I wrench on my terrible fleet of broken cars and go camping a lot. I used to play in a ska band. I can't grow a beard. That's about it.
