Summer Camp Counselors/ Summer Camp Leaders Camp Leaders (M-F, 8:00-4:30/ 9:00-5:30) Camp Counselors (M-F, 9:00-3:00pm) Beyond The Classroom is looking to staff our 2021 summer camp. We will form a team of talented people to create a fun, safe, rewarding, and enriching summer experience for our kids. Our position is 4 1/2 weeks long beginning June 4 (actual camp begins 6/7) Camp Leaders will work the shift 8am-4:30pm or 9am- 5:30pm and Camp Counselors would be required to be available from 9am to 3pm (Monday-Friday). You will need to be available for the entire term specified. We are looking for fun, energetic, enthusiastic, intelligent, and team-oriented who would be in charge of our campers safety and emotional well being on-and off-site. (inclusiveness, monitor engagement, etc.) Responsibilities: -In charge of keeping track of badges campers won, how to strategize and win the neighborhood scavenger hunt as well as how to build community within their group by facilitating tribe meetings, and games. - Assist project leaders during project time. - Write down questions to ask campers during special guest hours. Assist with behavior management. - Will take neighborhood walks or scooter/bike ride with children. - Supervise campers at all times and administer basic first aid. - First Aid/ CPR certification is a plus! -Prior Camp Experience is a plus!
