Landwell Design + Build Co. is a San Luis Obispo based landscape design and construction company specializing in the creation of contemporary outdoor living spaces. We thoughtfully design functional, attractive landscapes that are suited to fit each site and address individual client needs, and our talented construction crew builds custom outdoor living spaces using quality materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and a high attention to detail. Our business is quickly becoming established on the Central Coast, and we hope to continue developing our multi-faceted team by hiring hard-working individuals interested in long-term employment and the opportunity to expand their skill set. We are currently seeking Landscape Laborers to join our landscape construction teams. The Landscape Laborer will be responsible for completing daily project tasks as instructed by their supervisor, and will report directly to the Landscape Construction Foreman. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/attributes:  Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, fellow crew members, and clients  Ability to efficiently complete tasks while meeting company standards  Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the work day  Ability to safely and properly use construction tools and operate equipment  Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance Experience/knowledge in the following areas is desired:  Grading and drainage systems  Installation of pavers, flagstone, concrete and other hardscape materials  Retaining wall construction  Carpentry  Irrigation Systems  Low-voltage landscape lighting  Plant identification/proper planting techniques Any additional construction, horticulture, or design experience/education is a plus. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean DMV record. Compensation is competitive, but dependent on experience.
