I am a 75 year-old disabled woman who needs to ask for help. I am in Dorchester where I live on a small income, with just enough to pay for food and shelter. I have a delightful little dog, half shih-tzu/ yorkshire terrier. Children love him and he has a fan club of adults and children. I have been taking him out for walks in a large local park, but lately my legs are getting worse, and have only been able to take him out for short “rest stops”. He is an active little dog, and needs to go out for longer walks with good exercise. I fear this lack of exercise will affect his health. If I could find a dog loving, reliable volunteer to take him out once a day for at least ½ hour, it would be an great relief to me, and take a big burden off my shoulders. Getting rid of him is not an option. He is too dear to me, and gives me love that keeps me sane and stable. If you could help me, or know of a service that provides free dog walking, it would be a great gift to me and bring you good karma. Thank-you.
