Found Black Cat

Hi, I found a fluffy black cat, with beautiful green eyes, He/She was really close to the road and I was worried about something happening to them. I'm sure they must live around there and belong to someone, they were SUPER friendly, rolled onto their back and wanted tummy rubs wasn't scared about being picked up, and put into my car, and had no issues with traveling in a car. I was worried someone would steal them or they might get hit. I called animal control and took them in so they could be scanned for a chip and brought home safely.
