Subcontractor Payment Policy The first 20 hours of labor are paid daily. Afterwards, pay is weekly. General labor is paid hourly. Specialty skills are paid according to the Standardized Rate Table (SRT). The company does not provide rides to work. The company pays for materials but does not furnish hand tools (except as otherwise specified). Gas reimbursement provided for travel between job sites, but not from home to office or from office to primary job site. No contractor will receive reimbursement for tools or materials unless these expenses are approved prior to purchase. Every contractor is required to report to the office at 8:30 AM for the morning meeting, unless excused by a manager. If you arrive on the job (or to the office) more than 30 minutes late, for more than 3 occurrences (for any reason) per month, your pay rate will be reduced to the next lowest grade if paid according to the SRT, or by 2 dollars per hour (if general labor), for the next 2 weeks. If you are absent without notifying a manager within 1 hour of the absence, your pay rate will be reduced to the next lowest grade if paid according to the SRT. If you are absent for an entire day without notifying a manager, you will be terminated. You must answer the phone for any supervisor while in the office, on a job site, or at any time during the work day. Failure to do so may result in pay reduction or termination. No one is to leave the job site without authorization from a supervisor. No one is to purchase materials or go to the hardware store to purchase materials without authorization from a supervisor. While it is not our usual policy to drug test or perform a background check before hiring, we reserve the right to do so at any time. Paid lunches are 30 minutes only. This includes travel to and from the job site or office. Lunch time is 12pm-12:30pm unless otherwise specified.
