My family rescued this Maltese mix. She's 13 human years. Her health is generally good. She's pretty frisky and playful for being an older dog. She is very good with children. She is even good at communicating. She will usually give a grumble or bark to use the bathroom if you haven't taken her and inches toward you if you miss a feeding. I (I usually work in my den which I don't allow her, and I'll see her lay down looking at me and inching closer and closer until I get up - it's actually pretty cute.) I just don't have time and the usual kid promises of I'll do everything if we get a pet have long since died. I think she could be a wonderful companion dog. I will give everything I have attained along with her if you should want it. *She does best as an only dog* If you have time, patience and love to give, this could be a great starter dog for any family.
