Warehouse\Delivery Driver Job Profile REPORTS TO: Owners\Regional Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: 1-800 Radiator & A/C of Eugene is in search for a summer delivery driver for our Eugene\Springfield area. The positions will be responsible for delivering orders to our customers safely and efficiently using company vehicles. We ship parts daily using multiple different vendors and you will be asked to prepare these shipments when not busy doing deliveries. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Pull parts and organize delivery routes according to 1-800 Radiator procedures • Deliver products according to sales orders following any special instructions that are noted on invoices • Ensure that all protocols for customer service is being followed to include proper warranty and pick-up procedures • Collect any payments that are due according to invoices and payment procedures • Clearly communicates with router to create realistic expectations for delivery times • Conducts daily inspection of vehicles • Follow all local laws and regulations regarding transportation and travel on roadways • Maintain an exemplary driving record both on and off duty • Files all paperwork according to local procedures at end of delivery runs • Makes sure that all warranty paperwork is attached to returned products • Receive product shipments • Package shipments for various shipping companies • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Excellent ability to think proactively, anticipates employee and customer needs • Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressured environment while still maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor. • Self-directed and able to prioritize and meet deadlines with professional, quality results. • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent priorities. • Computer skills, with knowledge of basic office systems. • Excellent communication skills both inter-office and customer communication Job Requirements: • Must have a high school diploma or a GED • Must have a clean driver's license • Must have the ability to do basic math • Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite • Must have a dependable mode of transportation to and from work • Must have clean and neat clothing • Must be able to lift maximum of 50 lbs • Must be mobile and capable of carrying parts to and from delivery vehicles We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
