Bass player looking for drummer or band

Im a bass player looking for a drummer or a band to play with. I have played guitar casually for about a decade and picked up the bass a year ago and decided it is the right instrument for me. I have a basic fundamental understanding of music theory and know how to play and write progressions in key. If you already have progressions I know how to hit the root notes and build a bassline using the chord shapes. I can also "jam" using the minor and pentatonic scales. That being said, I dont have experience playing in a band and im not claiming to be better than mediocre. I cant read sheet music. I need to play with a drummer to sharpen my skills. Even if you arent great as long as you can count to 4 and have a place to practice. I like doom metal, bands like Om that use big heavy riffs and create a ton of space for drum fills. I also like iron maiden and try to imitate steve's classic galloping technique. Theres a handful of maiden songs I can play along with, and I have some ideas for original material. Anything blues/rock/metal is fine. Im available to practice every day around 7 to 9pm and all day on sunday. Im down to just jam or to be part of an organized band.
