A friend of mine has offered me a playhouse that he built for his daughter 20 years ago. It is still in good shape. I have a trailer that can be used to transport it. The plan is to take the roof off in two pieces and load them onto the trailer. My place is a mile from my friend's so we'll do a quick drive over to my place. We'll have to squeeze the pieces through my gate and then will stash them on my back lawn while we grab the walls and floor, which can all be disassembled and taken individually. This may require a few more runs since the walls have actual glass windows in them. Once everything is at my house, we'll put it back together. The hardest part will be moving the roof pieces. They are pretty heavy and we will have to squeeze through a couple of gates. With the whole roof together, it is all I can do to just lift one side of it. I'm looking for two strong people to help with this. Realistically, with four we should be able to handle it completely together but it will be even easier if it is in two pieces. I will be starting at about 10AM on Saturday the 8th and am expecting that it will take about five hours.
