Shipping & Receiving: - Package outgoing shipments - Print packaging labels from Freight Company (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS) including international - Receiving of incoming shipments o Inspect incoming materials Confirm accuracy of shipment (right product, correct quantity) Confirm undamaged Distribute material to correct department o Provide required documentation to correct department - Tracking of outgoing / incoming shipments - Provide shipping estimates to Sales Dept o Determine whether shipments are standard or LTL freight - Deliver / Pick up orders and materials from local suppliers/customers when needed Order Processing – - Fulfill (Print, Pull product, Prepare for shipment) Orders from Sales Team, - Fulfill (print, pull product, prepare for shipment, close orders) orders from retails web store - Communicate with Sales Dept in regards to order processing, fulfillment Inventory Management - monitor the level of supplies in an organization to ensure purchases are made in a timely manner - Accurately monitor inventory counts for all products, raw materials, components (parts and hardware) at multiple locations - Keep accurate records of inventory levels via Excel Spreadsheets / future ERP system - Manage incoming inventory of textiles from German partner company Logistics Management - Work directly with contracted Freight Forwarding company to organize incoming shipments from Germany - Familiarity with HTS codes and Schedule B numbers for importing / exporting helpful - Scheduling of LTL freight shipments both domestic / international - Build relationships with Freight suppliers to achieve better pricing plans (UPS, FedEx, DHL) - Maintain Logistics manual that contains all shipment control documentation needed Procurement - Receive requests from internal departments and create purchasing requisition for management approval - Ordering of necessary parts and materials - Keep accurate records of purchasing history and suppliers - Search for alternative vendors that could provide better pricing or quality - Develop relationships with internal departments and supplier vendors to achieve better prices and inventory levels Skills needed: - Microsoft Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, etc) - Ability to lift 75 lbs - Ability use websites / software including UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, to create shipments - Organizational skills: able to organize warehouse and keep inventory of product and parts at multiple locations - Drive company vehicles to make local pick-ups and deliveries - Communication skills: interdepartmental, supplier relationships, logistic contacts - Analytical skills: o Analyze procurement data to determine buying trends and inventory levels to be kept o Logistics analyzation to determine best schedule B numbers / HTS Codes based on researched tax / duty data - Troubleshooting / Problem Solving: ability to solve problems that arise with knowledge of correct person / department that can assist.
