Job Description: The Tailored Remodeling our installers are the face of our company. Successful candidates for this position are professional, courteous, and have experience working directly with the public. Successful candidates will also have an understanding of mechanics and a willingness to learn from experienced employees. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - One year of relevant industry experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safely operate a motor vehicle. A significant level of trust is required as this position works independently on job sites and interacts with customers. Courtesy and tact are required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position, but should not be considered comprehensive: Plumbing experience Needed Trim carpentry experienced preferred Drywall experience a plus Tile experience a plus Work must be completed with quality and accuracy Ability to read, understand, and follow directions Display appropriate interpersonal skills Anticipate and troubleshoot problems Ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive attitude toward teamwork Lift as much as 80 pounds. Extend arms above head for long periods of time. Climb up and down a ladder repeatedly. Stand in awkward positions on a ladder with arms above head for long periods of time. Operate drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers and other hand tools for long periods of time. Operate motorized machines, i.e. scissor lifts. Load and unload heavy material on/off truck. Bend, squat and stoop repetitively. These activities are not necessarily performed to the same degree and combination every day.
