Missing- deceased dog

We are currently looking for the person who picked up a deceased large dog North of the Hampshire exit on the 101 SB on Sunday morning. We realize that someone may have taken to give a proper burial but the dog wasn't scanned for a microchip and we have an owner desperately searching for their dog. Dog Days has been in touch with animal control, CHP, and Caltrans who have all not been able to locate the body. Our team was alerted approximately 9:30 Sunday morning and were out approximately 1 hour later to pick up and there was no dog. Please share this as we really need to find the person so that we can confirm if it's the missing dog. The person will not be in any trouble, we just are trying to give a family closure. The dog had a collar on. Please share and if anyone has info please help us. Contact Jenn
