Our Warehouse Professionals impacts the Company’s day-to-day operations and is integral to the successful execution of the company’s customer service, material, equipment, and inventory process. The Warehouse provides support for all Company Employees in a wide variety of ways. In addition to typing, filing and telephone duties, you are expected to perform duties such as Pick-Up and Delivery, Dispatching, Delivery Scheduling, Planning, and Prioritization, Equipment and Parts Loading, Equipment Preventative Maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Ability to Multi-task and handle interruptions and still stay focused and on task Receive, unload, and load goods, equipment, parts, etc. daily. Inspects and verifies incoming goods, equipment, parts, etc. against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods. Collaborates and communicates with others on shipment and receipt of goods, equipment, parts, etc. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Preparing/Loading goods, equipment, parts, etc. for delivery, shipment, and or pick-up. Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping paperwork. Accurately track inventory levels and locations of goods, equipment, parts, etc. Use of various methods to generate shipping labels for outgoing orders, returns, and exchanges. Provide Labor and Support to Field Personnel. Will operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods. Will operate automatic and manual transmissions, pull trailers of various sizes and lengths, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment. Provides safe, clean, and organized storage for goods, equipment, parts, etc. Maintains a clean and neat Warehouse, Shop, and Property, which includes sweeping, trash, mopping, recycling, mowing, snow removal, and other duties as assigned. Provides minor preventative maintenance on trucks, vans, scissor-lifts, forklifts, trailers, and other equipment. Performs basic repairs on trucks, vans, scissor-lifts, forklifts, trailers, and other equipment. Duties should be carried out with a focus on quality but also on efficiency. Speed, organization, and productivity are a key part of this job. Must be able to do all of this with a smile on your face, and be able to provide excellent customer service to everyone A very positive attitude, a "get in and get it done" personality and strive to grow and be the best at everything you do ensuring you get your job done efficiently, accurately and by the required deadline Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is Required Clean DMV and Criminal Background Willingness to work in a Drug-Free Work Environment (Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required) Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred) High integrity and high energy Experience in HVAC and Refrigeration products is strongly desired Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one Ability and willingness to lift boxes, materials, and equipment weighing as much as 70+ lbs Strong customer service skills Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, manual transmissions, trailer pulling, and other equipment Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business with a strong, positive attitude Physical demands and abilities Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-70 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Wage is dependent on experience, with benefits offered after the probationary period.
