I am making the hard decision to find a new home for my 1 year 45lbs Border Collie mix dog. I have her DNA record. Nizhoni is basically a great dog. Her one difficulty is that she has nipped at people's heals 3 times in a playful herding manner. I run a childcare and although not dangerous, this is not an okay behavior ever for this business. So it is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a quality home for her. She gets alog with other dogs, cats, children, people, she comes when she is called, enjoys car rides and hanging out in car, and she loves to play. She is also very loving, loyal and cuddly as well as calm indoors. She is a frisbie and ball dog and a loves to exercise. I think she would make a great older child's dog or a running partner. If you think you would be a good home for her please call me to chat. The right home will be someone who can give her regular exercise, have her be part of the family indoors, lots of hugs and pets, and have an ability to retain a benevolent alpha manner with her. She could be left alone inside but will need lots of attention and exercise upon return. I am asking a rehoming fee of 250.00 but I will reduce that for the right home if finances are a challenge.
