Description
My family and I have been having a hard time with the lost of our old cat, we have been feeling the impact our cats absence has had in our lives and it is heartbreaking. We have been talking about bringing a new little kitty to raise aw well as going through old supplies and getting new beds, toys, and scratching posts.
I would strongly perfer younger kitten as we had raised our kitty from a young age as well. I know the recommended rehoming age is 12-14 weeks old, and 8-10 weeks is the earliest rehoming age, I do have personal experience hand raising kittens from the earliest ages of 3 weeks old so I am able to take a kitten or two if they need the extra attention a few weeks earlier.
We know that young kittens thrive in pairs than on their own so we would hope to adopt two rather than one. We hope for them to have cuddly purrrsonalities, kittens looking for affection that want laps for naps!
I would prefer looking more for torti, calico, or tabby kittens. My oldest(5yo) describes wanting a very colorful kitty with stripes when asking him what he would like in a kitty. I can't help but agree with wanting a colorful calico myself.
If any of these characteristics matches a litter of kittens you have I would love to hear more about them, see pictures and talk about taking (hopfully)two home! I do expect to discuss a rehoming fee but nothing unreasonable.
