Take Part in Paid Study on a Mental Health + Parenting Treatment

Take part in a telehealth group therapy study for parents and earn up to $360. We are looking for parents of children ages 3-6 to participate in our study of a new group therapy treatment program. This treatment is for parents who have experienced problems with substance use in the past, and currently experience difficulties with mental health and managing emotions (children do not participate in treatment). To participate in this study, parents must: • be at least 18 years old • have experienced problems with substance use in the past, but not currently • experience a lot of emotional difficulties • have at least partial custody of a 3-6 year-old child • complete an online screening and clinical interview • participate in a remotely delivered weekly group therapy over Zoom, that integrates dialectical behavior therapy and parenting training for 20 weeks, provided at no charge (each weekly session is 2.5 hours). Sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:00p.m. You could earn up to $360 for participating in the whole study.
