Description

Responsibilities: • Drive heavy equipment • Manage backfilling operation • Mixing dirt, pass compaction tests • Create and manage access. Our requirements: • Run heavy equipment: Front end loader, skid steer, track hoe, compaction equipment • Read survey steaks • Be able to use a laser shoot grade • Knowledge of moisture density relationships to get compaction • Familiar with moisture treating class 1 material • Knowledge of how to create and maintain a roller pattern • Knowledge in slope excavation • Knowledge in type A,B,C soil classifications and cut requirements • Driver’s License in good standing • Be able to lift 100 lbs. in outside working conditions Preferred but not required: • Bilingual (English-Spanish) • Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining wall, retaining wall, earthwork, concrete or civil construction experience • DOT experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: The position pays $22 - $26 /hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance • Life insurance • Paid time-off (PTO) • Referral program • Paid holidays Benefit Conditions: • Waiting period may apply • Only full-time employees are eligible Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work) • Start time 7 a.m. Labor type: • Earthwork Construction This Job Is: • A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED. • A “Fair Chance” job (you or the employer follow Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks). • A good fit for applicants who have gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more. • Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.
