We are looking to add to our dysfunctional family an experienced, youthful, dedicated, go-getting Warehouse Shipper / Receiver to work with our Customer Team. Our digs are modern, swank, and comfortable, and always well stocked with snacks, beverages, and great Java! This is what you need to bring to the table: • Shipping / Receiving Experience = At least 1 year previous experience working in a warehouse handling shipping and receiving duties, including small package and LTL freight. • Basic Computer Skills = Ability to use a Windows PC to manage basic tasks, including email, calendar management, etc. Applicants with knowledge of UPS Worldship / FedEx / ShipStation shipping software will be given extra consideration. • Phone Etiquette = Ability to professionally handle phone calls to and from customers and shipping partners. • Punctuality = Ability to come to work on time regularly. Attention to detail is paramount! What you'd get out of it: The first 90 days of employment are probationary, meaning a contract/1099 employee. The position will start off at rate of $2800/mo for the first 3 months (paid bimonthly). Once past the initial 90 days, you will be on the books at a negotiated starting salary, based on experience. At six months of employment, You will have your initial performance review, and you will qualify for 5 days of PTO which can be used as sick days or vacation days, and after 12 months of employment you will qualify for 10 days per year. Our offices are closed on major holidays including the Friday after Thanksgiving. We offer a company funded 401K as well, with a waiting period of 1 year, and a vested period of 3 years.
