Description

Light maintenance, problem solving, prioritizing and resolving issues in vacation homes. Primary Responsibilities: • Basic, light maintenance items. Changing light bulbs and batteries, lighting pilot lights, refilling and replacing propane, re-hanging towel bars, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues such as: TV, internet and basic appliance issues, thermostat settings. • Evaluating situations, diagnosing problems and knowing when specialist/contractor assistance should be requested. • Customer service - assisting guests onsite with maintenance items or concerns in a calm and confident manner • Annual projects such as preparing the homes for winter and spring: delivering ice melt, changing furnace filters, putting away and pulling out patio furniture, etc • Running errands, taking supplies to guests, assisting housekeeping inspectors if needed (requires an eye for detail) NOTE: This position does not require mechanical, electrical, plumbing or appliance repair experience.
