The Area Janitor performs manual labor associated with the daily cleaning of office space, break areas, and restrooms. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, polishing furniture, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The performance of these duties is Sunday - Saturday at various locations in the Phoenix, Wickenburg, Wikieup area. This position is currently Sunday – Saturday 1:00pm – 10pm (up to a 40hrs week) •Employee will report to the Tempe Office located at 537 S. 48th St. Suite 104, Tempe, AZ 85281 at 1:00pm daily for Operational brief and pick up company vehicle for use during shift. • Employee must be available to provide janitorial services to several small office locations Sunday - Saturday as needed. To Apply please use the link below: Regular Responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Empty trash containers and recycle receptacles. 2. Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, buff floors. 3. Vacuum rugs and carpets. 4. Scrub and clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items. 5. Dust and clean walls, doors windows, woodwork, and other above-floor surfaces. 6. Clean and sanitize kitchen/break room area 7. Dust, clean and polish furniture 8. Clean door glass interior and exterior. 9. Clean inside and applicable outside window glass 10. Police areas around outside of building 11. Perform related work as required and instructed Requirements: Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers Spearhead specialized projects which may or may not be directly related to cleaning. Knowledge in floor care for both carpet and hard floor Perform equipment and supply inventory at facility location Additional Information: • Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written communication. • Must be able to work a flexible shift, including some nights, weekends, and holidays. • Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools, cleaning tools and chemicals. • Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform routine cleaning tasks. • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
