Sea Gypsy Rentals is looking for a part-time to full time maintenance handyman to help with various tasks inside our vacation rental condo's. We are looking for someone to help with minor plumbing, painting, electrical, and everyday fixes of things that are needed inside our vacation rental condos. The position will be part time with possibility of more hours once it is determined you are a good fit for the company and position. Your availability must be flexible. The schedule is partially flexible and may vary from week to week. We're not a chain. We're a small, family owned company with about 18 employees. Sea Gypsy Rentals manages 58 privately owned condos at the Sea Gypsy. Here's the interesting part: We ran our company for the first 8 years without a front desk. We used to communicate with our guests exclusively by phone or email. This past year, we leased the long-shuttered office at the Sea Gypsy, which we've just finished remodeling. As far as compensation goes, we are willing to negotiate a fair rate based on experience. Must have a smart phone, as we send all work orders through an app. The properties we manage here are distinct. Each condo has an individual owner and a unique personality. Since no two units are the same, each condo has it's own nickname: "Anchor Management," "The Beachelor Pad," "Beaches Be Crazy," "Guppy Love," "Shrimp Daddy," "Ships & Giggle," etc. Check us out at. Our building is three stories tall with no elevator, so you must be able to go up and down stairs and carry at least 50 pounds. Previous experience will be viewed favorably.
