I am rehoming this dude for my roommates who have no business taking care of a cat. They got the cat for their kids but the kids hate him and are always picking on him. He's just about a year old and he doesn't even have a name everyone just calls him cat. When i met this cat, about six months ago, he was sooo sweet and all he wanted to do was play and cuddle. Now he's harder to approach and takes a bit of sweet talking and coaxing to get him to come up to me. He's only like that because he's so used to people just yelling at him to get out or go away. I think that, once he's shown more frequent positive interactions, he'll blossom into a little social butterfly 🌼 🦋 🌼 He is not neutered and probably hasn't had any shots or even seen the inside of a vets office. He also has a bit of an issue being picked up because, to punish him for having accidents, his owners spank him an pick him up and aggressively throw him outside so now he's afaid of being picked up but again i think with some positive nudge in the right redirection he'll get better about that. This cat just needs love and compassion... and a NAME for crying out loud. If you have the time and love to show him the lighter side of life, please come swoop him up.
