This is not a mechanic opening in this ad but job will introduce you into mechanics and basic tasks**** Busy automotive shop in Orange County looking for a full or part time employee to perform a variety of tasks including: Shop maintenance, cleaning, parts sorting, and more. Applicants must be dependable and able to work with minimum supervision. Position could lead to training as a hot rod technician for the right person. You must be able to follow directions, work well with others and be a team player. Please email your qualifications and those most qualified will be invited for an interview. Must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug screen if required. --Cleaning of shop and grounds --Sorting and organizing classic car parts --assist with disassembly and reassembly of classic cars and trucks --vehicle maintenance and cleaning --assist checking in arriving vehicles --picking up and delivering parts; valid CDL required --Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physical labor --Full time position will require 40 hours per week. Part time position 32 hours per week minimum (flexible) --Drugs use not permitted and subject to random drug testing. Ideal candidate will possess the skills and care necessary to work around valuable classic American cars. Applicants must submit a resume or brief work history.
