$16/ hr Production Handler Position

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work for a well established coatings removal/industrial chemical company in Eldridge. Ideally this individual would have prior experience with hoists, cranes & forklifts as we move and lift customers product around all day using these tools. We offer a competitive wage, benefits package w/401k after 90 days, 3 weeks of vacation available on day one and paid lunch break. The schedule is a flexible swing shift M-F 10-6pm (detailed training for each job task for as long as it takes to learn position). Some overtime needed potentially on a daily basis and Saturdays occasionally to complete the daily orders. * Supports workplace organization and housekeeping efforts and incorporates clean work practices in daily routines. * Participates in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, environmental protection and conservation, process/product quality and reliability, and operational productivity. * Processes all product in accordance with the daily priority reminder list, routers, and safety, environmental, and quality workmanship standards. * Responsible to ensure product quality, on-time deliveries, and meeting acceptable service performance. * Loads and unloads burn off ovens. * Processes product though chemical dip system and other specialized coatings removal dipping operations. * Power washes product. * Packages product and loads on daily route trucks for next days shipments. * Performs all other duties as assigned to complete all daily tasks. Physical Demands * Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. * Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
