In general, I concur with your assessment. I would Ike to add my own observations: Trump supporters and conspiracy believers all live in a sort of fear or guarded state. In general, their mentality is “someone is trying to take something from me.” They live in fear that someone is trying to steal their rights, or their money, or their freedom. In general, these people all feel like the world (the democrats) are out to get them. Trump supporters live in paranoia. Donald Trump himself cleverly recognized this paranoia and exploits it at ever opportunity. Trump makes ridiculous claims about democrats trying to take your rights or your freedoms away. And trump supporter fall for this nonsense because it supports the fears that they already have. I do not lock my car. I do not lock my home when I leave for the day. I do not have alarm systems. I do not live in fear of being robbed. And you know what,.. I have never been robbed. To be honest, I would rather be robbed every so often than live in fear of being robbed every day. It would be easier and cheaper for me to get robbed every now and then than it would for me to buy into the fear of being exploited. Trump supporters are the type of people that live in this perpetual fear of something being “stolen” from them. Trump has imposed his own fears and insecurities over your own. If you live in fear, you will die in fear. If you create your own anxiety, you will suffer. Living in fear is like living in a type of mental prison. Why do that to yourself? I guess people just love to crate drama in their own lives.
