Description

We are looking for an expediter to facilitate the completion of customer orders and communicate with customers on the status of their orders. The ideal candidate will need familiarity with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our company manufactures and distributes fasteners and gaskets. Some experience with shipping and receiving, including creation of bills of lading is preferred. • Communicate order status to customers upon request • Communicate with internal departments to obtain and assess order status • Enter notes into spreadsheets for use in tracking order status • Create spreadsheets by importing data to track order status • Communicate with shipping department to facilitate customer pickups and vendor deliveries • Communicate with sales staff to manage customer expectations • Create bills of lading for shipment of material Benefits: • Health insurance • Waiting period may apply
