Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is seeking a full-time Maintenance Staff Member to join our team! Woodstock Farm Sanctuary is a nonprofit that rescues and provides shelter for abused farmed animals. We host thousands of visitors every season at our Sanctuary in High Falls, NY. This is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt, benefits-eligible position reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Managing Director. Skills and Tasks - Fencing - Light construction and repair - HVAC maintenance - Operating tractors, backhoes, trucks and trailers - Barn and coop construction - Grounds maintenance and light landscaping - Equipment and vehicle maintenance - Plumbing - Electrical infrastructure maintenance - Major appliance repair - Comfort and patience around farmed animals - Ability to coordinate with coworkers and work well as a team member and also work well independently Job Parameters - Competitive pay commensurate with experience - Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid time off - Scheduling flexibility possible For the right candidate, training in some areas is available.
