Lake 22 Hike PLEASE EXPAND THE DESCRIPTION BELOW TO REVIEW ALL HIKE DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS. As with most Mountains Sea & She – Outdoor Adventures events - we want all levels to be able to join and enjoy! We will hike at a slow to moderate pace, with plenty of snack and photo breaks. No one will ever be left behind! Faster paced hikers are welcome to pair or group up and hike ahead if desired. Everyone is required to pick a buddy – no solo hiking permitted. Social distancing precautions will continue to take place: -- We will split into groups of 5 or less -- Maintain 6 feet apart -- Everyone asked to bring a mask for use when you can't be 6 feet apart or for use while other hikers are passing. If you aren't able to pull up a mask, please face the outside of the trail. -- No hugs, only elbow bumps -- Group photo will be taken with social distancing precautions -- I will not be initiating carpooling email (as I normally do) but you are welcome to plan with other attendees in the group if rides are needed and you feel comfortable. If you do carpool - please be sure to give a few bucks to your driver and don't forget to thank them! MEETING TIME: Meet at trailhead 7:30AM, we will start hiking by 7:40PM. It will take everyone a little time to gear up, but if you think that you will be more than 10 minutes late, please message your host at the start of your commute before we lose signal, so that we don't leave without you. Go east 0.3 miles, then turn left (north) onto N Alder Avenue, which turns into the Mountain Loop Highway. 10.6 miles later, enter the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. 2.1 miles past the entrance to the Forest, pass over Twentytwo Creek, and 0.4 miles farther, turn right at the entry for the Lake Twentytwo trailhead. The parking area is located around a gravel loop and holds nearly 50 cars. There is a privy available.
