My father and uncle owned a construction company that built houses in D.C. and Virginia. They were all honest, hardworking people and they passed on their knowledge to the next generation with this understanding: “We teach you what we know so you can earn an honest living. Your payback to us is you are to teach other starting with your family what you know so they will know there’s no reason to lie, cheat or steal to live.” Today, Murray, who co-founded and successfully sold two high profile technology firms, is teaching somebody else.
