In April 2020, PLMI put on one of the most prescient programs of the year, predicting the role lifestyle would play in chronic illness and COVID-19 outcomes and giving us a functional immunology perspective on the virus. This year, the event focused on what we have learned so far about the virus and “long-haul” COVID patient cases. On this month’s Forum, we’re bringing you highlights from this event. Dr. Jeffrey Bland will be synthesizing all of what we’ve learned in the last year from COVID-19 and sharing his thoughts about the implications for the reinvention of medicine. Dr. Aristo Vojdani, the godfather of functional immunology, will be sharing his thoughts on COVID-19 and autoimmunity. Dr. Cheng Ruan will be talking about the operationalizing of care in his clinic in the face of COVID-19. Finally, James Maskell will discuss how we can all reduce friction to reinvent medicine effectively.
