The Assembly Technician must be able to perform simple window and door repairs including but not limited to hardware and balancer repairs, sash replacements, caulking, ability to mull units together, etc. The job of an Assembly Technician, also known as an assembler, is to put together or repair products manually or using a machine. As an assembly technician, your responsibilities include piecing together the product, often with a team, and performing quality assurance on the entire process. Hours: 7am - 5pm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES: - Responsible for performing all warehouse duties in a safe, efficient, detailed, and customer-focused fashion - Unload and receive product in a safe, efficient, timely and accurate fashion - Must be experienced in operating table saws, miter saws, nails guns, hand tools, etc - Update the Warehouse Management System, utilizing the scanners, when product is moved, received and/or loaded. - Process warehouse documentation in a timely and accurate fashion, while ensuring that the document(s) are routed to the appropriate personnel upon completion - Maintain quality control standards for products being painted. - Reassemble product after painting. Work on assembly table as needed - Communicate ideas for process improvement to management. - Perform cycle counts as needed to measure inventory accurately QUALIFICAITONS: - Must have prior carpentry experience - Must be able to operate table saws, nail guns, miters saws, hand tools, etc - MUST BE Forklift AND Cherry Picker experienced. - DETAIL ORIENTED - Dependable Team Player - Some computer skills - Willingness to learn EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High School diploma or GED is required. - Stand up and sit down Forklift PHYSICAL DEMANDS - A candidate must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and spend eight hours on his/her feet.
