Dependable, very experienced, GROOVER drummer seeking WORKING band with well experienced players. NYC/NJ/UpstateNY/ CT/MA. etc Even during Covid 2020 I played many outdoor gigs. I have been doing live gigs for a many years - with zero hassles. I am always on time, in time, all the time! :-) Last October I did many Oktoberfest outdoor jobs. Pocket player - most every style. Total dynamic control. PAID WORK ONLY, PLEASE. A few rehearsals no charge. One-Off & Substitute gigs are cool. I happily play just about every groove there is in modern music. Rock&Roll, Pop, Swing, Disco, Polka, C&W, Rumba, Cha cha, Samba, Jazz, Big Band, R&B, Funk, etc. I have total control over dynamics. Never play too loud, and can rock out when the music & venue call for it. I don't play Metal or Punk. Good stuff and once upon a time I was in a punk band. Absolutely nothing against those - just not my thing. I am a pro in every way; ALWAYS A positive attitude, show up on time, & ready to play well and groove your music at a pro level so the audience (and we) has a great time. Happy to audition & will rehearse for free, of course. But no freebie-pass-the-hat gigs, please. Although unlikely necessary, I read music, charts etc & write drum charts/parts too if need be. Am VERY open to a fully committed band member situation. Can sub with very little and no rehearsal for some music too. Happy to do originals gigs & bars & restaurant gigs in town (NYC) - free rehearsals but for the gigs/shows I need to be paid a very reasonable rate. Functions (Weddings, corporate, special events, such as Oktoberfest, Jazz concerts, Latin dances, Ballroom Dances, etc) I expect the going market rate. Have tuxedo if needed. Have car for New Jersey, L.I., Connecticut, Upstate NY, Massachusetts, etc. Live in Manhattan. I am super reliable and very easy to work with.
