We are looking for Subcontractors. Subcontractors will be expected to follow written and verbal instructions, also use a variety of tools to paint surfaces. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and complete projects on time and to budget. Should have great stamina and time management skills. Responsibilities: • Follow contract scope of work. •Must be insured • Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting. • Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish. • Covering for protection any exposed objects and surfaces. • Obeying workplace safety rules. • Keeping the workspace and tools clean. Professional Painter Requirements: • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience painting residential or commercial spaces. • Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards. • Solid communication skills. • Candidates must have their own hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and their own transportation. The following coverage and with minimum limits of liability as required, but in no event that are less than those specified below: Workers’ Compensation $1,000,000 each accident, disease- employee, and disease- policy limit Commercial General Liability $2,000,000 general aggregate & products- comp/op agg $1,000,000 occurrence, personal & adv. injury $100,000 damage to rented premises. $5,000 Med Exp. (any one person) Description of operation must read: Certificate holder is listed as additional insured. Endorsements CG2010 and CG2037 apply in favor of certificate holder.
