A dinner to raise money for Rogers's high school American Legion baseball teams. Act 6 Scholars from Whitworth University have teamed up with 180 Bar & Bistro to help raise money to cover player fees to be able to play summer baseball. All proceeds will be going towards paying for summer baseball. The typical fee to play is around $300 which is quite hefty for a low-income population. Historically this has been a major reason why kids in the area don't play and the difference is eventually seen in the high school. Our hope is to overcome this wealth gap in baseball and allow anyone who wants to play the ability to. With your help, we can make this happen so please attend our dinner fundraiser. We would like to give a special shout-out to the owners of 180 Bar & Bistro for allowing us to use their venue. The Menu: Starter: Classic caesar salad with housemade sourdough croutons, caesar dressing, and freshly shaved parmesan cheese. Served with warm rolls and butter. Entree: Stuffed feta and spinach chicken breast with a garlic chardonnay sauce served with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and fire-roasted vegetables. Dessert: New York cheesecake with raspberry sauce, whipped cream, and fresh mint
