As part of our “Reduce Reuse Rebag Project,” Teasom invites you to join us for a Paint & Sip event led by local Dallas artist Brie Milam! All painting supplies and a cup of iced tea will be provided. You just need to bring your own canvas tote bag (or purchase one with your ticket) to paint on and give a new life. Get crafty and creative while helping the environment! WHAT TO EXPECT: Local artist & instructor Brie Milam will teach you how to use fabric paint to create your own unique work of art on an old tote bag (or fabric item of your choice). Use one of her examples as a template for your tote, or get creative and make something totally unique that fits your style. Fabric paint takes a few hours to dry, so we will provide plastic bags that you can use to take home your tote. Or you can leave it overnight to pick up later. WHAT TO BRING: - An old tote bag or fabric item to paint on. Any color is fine! Don’t worry if it has writing or graphics on it, as the paint will cover over any existing designs. - OR Purchase a canvas bag if you don’t have your own. - Be sure to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on. WHAT’S PROVIDED: - All painting supplies (paint, palettes, brushes, etc.) - A cup of iced tea COVID PROCEDURE: - Your Temperature will be checked & hand sanitized upon entering. - You are required to wear your mask at all times besides drinking. TICKET PRICE: General Admission: $25 Extra tote bag: $8 -- ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Brie Milam is a watercolor and abstract artist based in Dallas, Texas.
