Free summer activity kits for girls ages 8-12. Girls Inc. of Hamblen County is partnering with Jefferson Health Care Foundation and East Tennessee Foundation to provide free summer activity kits for Jefferson County girls ages 8-12. The kits are all about Building a Better You and are created so your girl can do them on her own or with some adult help. Each activity is geared to inspire your girl to be strong, smart, and bold. Strong activities are created to inspire positive body image, healthy habits, and handling peer pressure. Smart activities focus on STEM, mental exercises, and kitchen experiments. Bold activities help girls build a sense of value and self-care practices. Your girl will also receive a free Girls Inc. t-shirt, so make sure you order her size in the registration options. Pick-up will be at the White Pine Public Library on Thursday, May 27 from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.
