Under the direct supervision of the Foreman position provides field support to the Landscape Maintenance Department. Responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed to provide full service to properties. Essential Duties: 1. Field Work - Crew Members is responsible for being a part of the team and helping with maintenance service for multi-family complexes. 2. Scheduled Maintenance - Crew Members is required to perform maintenance on landscape tools and equipment. 3. Horticulture Knowledge - Must have working knowledge and identification of landscape tools, proper landscape techniques, field planning, common plants, trees, etc. Tasks: Operate vehicle and powered equipment, such as mower, tractors, twin-axle vehicle, chain saws, electric clippers, and pruning saws. Mow or edge lawns Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters. Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
