Shipping Assistant Summary Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications. - Affixes postage on packages as specified by product shipment - Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying data. - Verifies shipments are complete and accurate. - Ensures all orders are printed & full-filled. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer & MS Outlook Internet software and Great Plains Order processing systems a plus.
