Native Plant Walk through the Rancho San Antonio Preserve with WSP Gardening Teacher Claire Roberts Join WSP faculty member Claire Roberts for a walk through the Rancho San Antonio preserve as she guides us in observing and learning about native plants. Learn how to identify native plants and what makes them indispensable to our local ecosystems. Our native adventure will begin at the Los Altos campus at 11311 Mora Drive, and we will walk up Mora to the entrance to the Open Space Preserve. Then we will walk about 1 mile into Rancho, ending at the farm where you can enjoy the rest of your afternoon exploring. Hiking level: easy, with a steep incline at the beginning to get to the top of Mora drive. This event is open to hikers of all ages who are able to walk at this level. Parents please plan to directly supervise your children. The suggested donation for this fundraiser is $20 per person.
