MaskUp Long Beach was created to promote health and wellness among Long Beach student to reduce the impact of Influenza and COVID-19. The April Parker Foundation, in partnership with the Black Health Equity Coalition (BHEC) and Coalition for Involved African American Families (CIAAP), is excited to provide COVID-19 Back to School Care Packages (BackPacks) to Long Beach students. These kits are designed to promote health and wellness among Long Beach students to reduce the spread of Influenza and COVID-19. What’s Inside Customized Backpack pre-filled with school supplies and essential items for Long Beach K-12 students. Two Ethnic Print Face-masks black on one side with the MaskUp Long Beach logo and a beautiful Ethnic print on the other side. The mask has adjustable straps to provide a custom fit. Refillable Hand Sanitizer and Lanyard allowing students to always have access to hand sanitizer while interacting in school. Resource Pocket Folder – Dual use folder with up-to-date CDC instruction on preventing the spread of COVID-19 in school, contact information for local COVID-19 Resource and other program information provided by our sponsors and partners. The Healthy Living Guide providing essential resource and tips to Live and Be Well in Long Beach.
