LEXINGTON, MA — This year's senior class can expect some celebration of their graduation — though it won't be a return to the normal festivities. In place of this year's prom, Lexington High seniors are invited to Senior Night, to be held at the high school on May 20.
The superintendent said in an announcement that they'll have COVID-safe events planned around the school, including trivia and a photo booth. The following night, seniors can go to a drive-in movie in the school's parking lot.
"Our students have been through a lot: Stay-at-home orders, remote learning, no school sports, and family health or financial issues caused by the pandemic," said superintendent Edward A. Bouquillon in his announcement. "I'm proud of them – along with our parents, teachers, and staff – for excelling this year despite difficult circumstances."
