DEDHAM, MA — Coronavirus cases in Dedham fell last week after two weeks of rising case counts, according to state data.
Dedham reported 68 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to April 24, compared to 86 cases the week before that. The average daily incidence rate was lower than the previous week's, decreasing to 17.7 from 22.4. The percent positivity decreased to 2.33 percent from 2.69 percent.
Dedham's case count still places it in the state's "yellow" zone. The state reported 26 communities were high-risk last week, down from 48 the week before.
Massachusetts reported 19,466 cases in the weeks leading up to April 24, with a daily incidence rate of 20.0 and a percent positivity of 2.01 percent.
