JOB SUMMARY Position responsible for customer service in the yard. Loading customers staging orders keeping area clean and safe. All Westside warehouse employees also must be able to stock job sites. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES • Comply with all safety rules and regulations • Load and Assist customers • Stage orders and assist drivers with incoming and outgoing material • Receive and check in material • Rotate and restock materials in yard • Keep all areas clean and safe. • Recognize safety hazards and help prevent them from occurring • Spot for job site fork operator • Perform other tasks as needed KEY DIMENSIONS • Forklift certification • Provide excellent customer service • Maintain clean and safe work environment • Attention to detail • Work well with co-workers, other contractors and customers KEY RELATIONSHIPS & LEADERSHIP • Able to understand direction from supervisor or lead • Communicate well with co-workers • Able to communicate and take loading direction from customers QUALIFICATIONS • Certified and able to operate yard forklifts and skip loader • Able to read and understand orders and receivers • Possess basic math skills • Possess Class C driver's license • Ability to move/transport materials in yard and on job sites WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Lift 60 lbs repeatedly and up to 110 lbs • Able to climb on and off equipment and customer's trucks • Able to withstand outdoor elements (cold and heat) Westside offers benefits such as health, dental & vision insurance, 401K offering, Sick & Vacation time, etc.
