ARLINGTON, MA — The playground at the Arlington Reservoir will be torn down this week as part of Phase 2 of renovations. The playground will be rebuilt with a new design before the beach season begins. Access to the area will be limited during demolition and removal of the equipment. Also included in this phase is renovation of the bathhouse, bank stabilization and upgrades to the perimeter path, parking lot, boat ramp, beach area and picnic pavilion. The project is expected to be completed by May 2022.
