General Manager
Leads restaurant operations.
Responsible for directing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards in –
product preparation, customer relations, maintenance and repair, inventory management, recruiting, hiring, retention, documentation and termination, and financial accountability. Must be a motivational leader who is hands on in operations. Upholds Honest Man Mission and standards.
Job Duties:
Control day to day operations. Oversee ordering and inventory. Responsible for scheduling and development of team members. Control profit and loss by following cash controls/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and being proactive in taking appropriate actions.Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance reviews, and take disciplinary actions when necessary.Ensure restaurant is adhering to all health code standards and the restaurant is maintained as a safe work environmentMaintain fast accurate service and positive guest relations, ensuring food quality and 100% guest satisfactionMust have strong decision making and problem-solving skills
This position requires:
excellent written, verbal, and group communication skillsthe ability to read, analyze and create basic business documents. Skills in excel, word, and pos are necessary. Basic understanding of social media platforms a plusability to analyze data and perform basic mathability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces.Must be able to lift 50lbs
Education/Experience:
2-4 years in supervisory role in restaurant or food service environmentProven track record of leadership skills in customer serviceBi-lingual Spanish and English a plus, but not required
