NORTH HAVEN, CT — Officials are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect over the weekend in North Haven due to construction. Spring Road at the railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic as of 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 8 until 5 p.m. on Monday, May 10, according to the North Haven Fire Department. Officials said the closure could be extended if weather conditions affect the replacement of the crossing. Detour routes will be posted, but officials said commuters should avoid the area if possible.
