This position reports directly to the Manager – Warehouse. General Warehouse Staff performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions. May operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.
The skill requirements include, but are not limited to:
Working knowledge of hand-held product scan guns or the ability to learn their functions.
Experience in a warehouse or inventory control is a plus.
Typically lifts 30+ lb auto parts, buckets, cases of oil
Ability to read, write and speak English
Physically able to walk, lift, bend
Work in a fast-paced environment
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to learn the functions of the hand-held product scan gun.
