Hello and welcome to May 2021. What a beautiful month of Spring. Flowers and trees are blooming everywhere, and the birds are chirping away. The air is getting warmer, and the sun is setting later. It truly is an incredible time of year.  Each first-Monday-of-the month, I create a new vlog called 60 and Beyond with Skylark that is inspirational and motivational for the 60 and beyond population to thrive in older age. I post my vlog to my YouTube Channel, Skylark Live, so please subscribe and press the bell the get notified when I upload a new video. I am also on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin, under Skylark Live, so be sure to follow me on these platforms as well. I post there, too. Today, I am going to repost a vlog from May 2020 called Reflecting. We were in the thick of COVID-19 and this vlog addresses where we were a year ago this month. We've come a long way, and I thought it would be interesting to listen to what I was talking about last year at this time compared to where we are today. We've had a year of reflection, growth, loss, sorrow, joy, and a greater awareness of ourselves. I believe we only have the present moment, and when we live in that moment, magic happens. We have greater joy and happiness, and our lives have greater meaning and purpose. We must continue to take good care of ourselves, wear our masks, get vaccinated, and stay hopeful. I'm looking forward to summer, my favorite time of year. I miss live music! What do you miss?
