MILFORD, CT — The Board of Aldermen will consider a resolution Monday night for a cash advance for improvements to Pumpkin Delight Elementary School. According to the aldermen agenda, it states that the Board has adopted an ordinance for the appropriation and bonding of $12.915 million for improvements to the school. The resolution if passed would allow the finance director to advance from the General Fund up to $12.915 million to fund the project and that the monies received from the issuance of bond anticipation notes or bond will be immediately applied to repay the General Fund. In a December 2020 news article, Hearst Connecticut shed more details on the upcoming Pumpkin Delight project.
